No pumping involved, leaving hands free to set up camp, lead a route or apply Icy Hot to those shoulders. The Base Camp is a member of Katadyn's exclusive BackCountry Series.The Base Camp's cleanable Hiker PRO cartridge removes Bacteria, Giardia and Cryptosporidium to EPA standards and the Activated Carbon Core reduces unpleasant tastes and odors from the water.
