A new nipple design that achieves the hottest ignition possible whether you are using the #11 cap or a musket cap... T/C's Flame Thrower Nipple is a unique design which ignites the powder charge in a muzzleloader through both a direct vent and via side ports that work in conjunction with the inner breech plug surface to throw a "ring of fire". The #11 cap delivers 3x the volume of flame to the powder when fired on a Flame Thrower Nipple. A musket cap delivers 3x the volume of flame and burns 700° hotter than a standard #11 percussion cap when fired on a Flame Thrower Nipple
